Cant rate them highly enough, they have looked after me for over a year now, nothing is too much bother, always there for great tips and advice, Coffee’s not bad either.
Just thought it right to drop you a quick line regarding the new wheels you built up. I had them out for their first competitive outing last weekend. A hilly course in the Borders. Last year I was in 9th, and this year I was first over the line. Excluding the effects of any training and a winter of hard work, I can of course only put this down to the new wheels.
But on a more serious note, they have been fantastic. They are running at a pressure slightly below that which I ride my Fulcrum clinchers and there is a notable improvement in ride quality and feel for what the tyres are doing on fast descents and corners. The best part is going up the climbs, they spin up beautifully and the hubs are silky, but when you want to attack off the back of someone’s wheel they pick up like nothing else.
Really enjoying the wheels – so thank you for the guidance in selecting a great build, and for putting them together so well. Also pleased to report that I have been completely puncture free so far.
Just a quick message to say thanks to Chris who made an adjustment to my bike last Thursday to try to eradicate some neck pain. It worked a treat! I was out on Saturday for a 30 mile ride and the tweaks to the bars have made a huge difference b no pain after the usual 5 miles, and very little aching thereafter.

Just wanted to say thank you for the bike fit this mooring. We went out and rode 45km form Ponteland, Capheaton, Wallington, Belsay and back to Ponteland. Straight away I realised how right the bike felt and how comfortable it was, far more compliant than my other bike.
Position felt really good and my upper body doesnb t appear to move around as much as it did, though still canb t get the elbows right but Ib ll work on that.
Anyway really happy and pleased I have bought it.
Bust my derailleur today, own stupid fault, bike shop didn’t have part on shelf, so mechanics robbed one off a bike in the shop and got me going in an hour or so. Super impressed by no none sense of staff, keep up the good work.
Fantastic shop with a great staff. A lot of experience makes for a pleasant and reassuring experience. As for the cafe… It’s great. Great sandwiches and cakes and coffee and tea and snacks. Really lovely place to sit and chill out after a hard ride or whilst shopping. I’d highly recommend you pay Cycle Art a visit!
Bought a Cervelo P3 last month from Cycle Art and it is awesome. Thanks Chris for the help.. will be coming to Cycle Art again for fine tuning.
Lovely place, could even be slightly controversial and use the phrase “bike porn”, James was very knowledgable and considered in his recommendations. Cycle-Art is the most professional bike shop I have visited to date.
