When it comes to Cervelo in the North East, Northumberland and County Durham, there is only one destination worth considering – Cycle Art in Prudhoe.
Let us proudly introduce… The Cervelo Wall.
At Cycle Art, we believe each bike we sell to be a piece of art, and none more so than a Cervelo. Each Cervelo on our wall is mounted in an oversize picture frame, creating a gallery of some of the most exotic and desirable bicycles around.
Hanging up on our Cervelo wall we have the brand new super slippery P3, the ever popular, multiple Iron Man winning P2, the brand new S2, and David Millar’s ride of choice, the S5 aero road bike. The P5 and S3, the only aero bikes not on our shop floor, are on their way to us shortly too.
If lightweight is more your thing, we also have an R3, an R3 Dark, and a stunning, £8000 Di2 equipped 2014 R5 – the same R5 frame that was used by the likes of Dan Martin and Tyler Farrar for Garmin Sharp Cervelo. A new R5, which is essentially a production version of the Rca, has already been in our shop – but it lasted 30 minutes before a customer bought it. He was pretty impressed with it, as you can see for yourself here. For more information on the Cervelo R Series of bikes, why not read our “In the spotlight…” article.
We also have a couple of R3 Darks left in stock – this rare bike is actually a 2013 R5 badged up as an R3 and built up with SRAM’s fantastic 11 speed Force groupset for a bargain £3000 (the frame alone was £3500 last year). We have had customers coming up from as far as London in order to buy an R3 Dark, so if you ride a 51 or a 56, we might have your dream bike waiting for you.
We have more than a dozen Cervelos in stock, built and ready to ride with more being built in the workshop, and even more on their way from Cervelo. Not only that, rather than stocking Cervelo simply because we can, our passionate and knowledgeable staff actually own, ride and race Cervelos themselves, meaning we can talk to you at great length about the Canadian brand, how their bikes ride, what it is to own one, and why their bikes are some of the best in the world. So, if you’re in the market for a Cervelo, where else would you go?
To help you build the bike of your dreams, we have a large range of products from what we believe to be industry leaders including Castelli, Kask, Bont, Fi:zi’k, Mavic, Pro, 3T, SRAM, Campagnolo, Shimano, Schwalbe, Clement, ISM and many more. We take great pleasure in sitting down for a coffee with you and going through one of our comprehensive build sheets, helping you spec up your ultimate Cervelo. Furthermore, every Cervelo we sell includes a proper bike fit from our in-house bike fit expert who carries out hundreds of fits a year, as well as a free first service to ensure your pride and joy works as well as it looks.
Cycle Art is not just a typical bike shop that happens to stock Cervelo. In addition to a large range of Cervelo bikes and other stunning road bikes, Cycle Art has a cafe that sells freshly ground Caffe Praego coffee, home made cakes, scones and cookies and freshly made to order sandwiches. You can also watch Cervelo’s “Beyond the Peleton” video diaries on our widescreen TV whilst you eat and drink.
So, if it’s a Cervelo you are after, why go to a normal bike shop when you can come to Cycle Art?
At Cycle Art, we are Cervelo.
